Benjamin Santoriello

Ben is a recent grad from Creative Circus, looking for his first CW gig. Tell you one thing, MC was so excited to click through Ben’s campaign for Heinz Manup and discover that there is a product out there that actually combines ketchup and mayo, one of the best condiment combos on Earth. That is, until MC Googled it, and realized it was just a stroke of ad school genius. Dang! Was already thinking about hitting Costco for the 112 oz tub. Ah, well. Tip ‘o the Hat, Mr. Santoriello.

UPDATE: Matt Heath

Matt is a copywriter/Creative Executive at CAA in Los Angeles. He’s been busy since his last MC post about a year ago, including a stint on the writing team of Eastbound & Down Season 3, stemming from the ad work he did for the show. (Awesome.) Don’t miss his Fake Craigslist Ads, especially the last one, “I don’t like the baby we adopted (Beverly Hills)” and his subsequent visit from non-fake police detectives. Hilarious.

UPDATE: Greg Gerstner

Greg is a copywriter/CD at Ogilvy NY. He’s got a brand new site and a bunch of new work to go with it, including an interactive touch wall for IBM at the US Open, and three new spots for IBM. But honestly, there’s so much killer work in Greg’s portfolio, any excuse to post it again is a good excuse.

Creative Circus Fall 2012

Rick Morrison, graduating Circus CW, checks in with a new site featuring his entire graduating class—the biggest in Circus history. (Congrats!) From Rick: “We wanted to pay homage to our class–the biggest in school history–as well as show off everyone’s individuality. So we created Creative Circus High School 2012, a fun, semi-ridiculous website for posterity and to introduce our class to all of you in the real world. Click the heads to hear our catch phrases and click names below for personal sites.”

Leah Metz

Leah is a copywriter in Minneapolis. Check out her “shaving for good” campaign for The Bridging Barber. When did grooming for charity officially become a thing? Movember started in 2004, was it then? Don’t know, but MC respects macho, pruning and positivity, so it’s all love.

Brad Meyers

Brad is a copywriter/ACD in San Francisco. People often ask MC, what makes a good CW portfolio? Pretty simple. When you’re clicking through it, do you feel jealous? Of the work? Do you wish it was yours? That’s a good start. Brad’s site includes a campaign that made MC so jealous back in the day. That 7-Eleven experiential campaign, where they turned 12 stores into Kwik-E-Marts from the Simpsons to hype the release of the Simpsons Movie. Just fantastic.
