Saurabh Kejriwal

lenore

Saurabh is a freelance copywriter in Berlin, originally from India. What a cool portfolio. His work is organized into pages titled Innovation, Digital, Film, Integrated, Print, and Personal (though some projects are featured on multiple pages). Don’t miss his odes to skirts, shirts, trousers, scarves and socks for Lenor (above). Super fun.

Mike Haftel

Mike is a freelance senior copywriter in San Francisco. Since his last post on MC (back on 01.09.15), he’s been busy. His new projects include a social media launch for the Xbox One X “Feel True Power” campaign (above), creative strategy and a cinematic spot for Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six: Siege game, and a global 360 campaign for Microsoft Cloud. Time for an update!

Dan Goldgeier

containertwo

Dan is a freelance senior copywriter and Talent Zoo columnist in Seattle. His site features projects for a wide variety of clients (as one would expect from the portfolio of a long-time freelancer) in addition to a couple of books. “View From The Cheap Seats” is a collection of Dan’s favorite Talent Zoo columns. “Killer Executions And Scrubbed Decks” is a book about the most obnoxious advertising jargon. Described by Dan: “Scope Creep. Curation. Deliverable. Pain Point. And more. All the nonsensical terms used in our industry, conveniently defined.” MC thinks that’s a real win-win.

Charlotte Frost

charlotte

Charlotte is a senior content specialist at Hilton Grand Vacations in Orlando. From her This Is Me page: “I’m an Orlando-based content specialist and brand strategist with some PR know-how in my back pocket. Storytelling has been my jam since I was a kid. Telling the stories of industry leaders and small businesses is my bread and butter.” MC couldn’t sum it up better than that.

Nike: Dream Crazy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fq2CvmgoO7I

It’s rare that MC posts a project rather than a portfolio. But every once in a while, something comes along that’s so well-written it just needs to go up. Still trying to track down the W+K copywriter who penned this one, will add the credit when she/he is found.

Back in the day, Janet Champ’s poetry for Nike Women (1988-93) is what inspired MC to get into copywriting in the first place. Thirty years later, it’s so cool to see W+K continuing to put writing out there, for the same brand, that really means something. Still setting the bar.

Paul Suggett

Bankers

Paul is a freelance copywriter/CD in Denver (last featured on MC way back on 02.08.2012). He’s got a killer portfolio site with all kinds of cool work including lots of entertainment projects from his time at Starz, but it was his stock photo headline site, Stoccopy, that was forwarded to MC from designer/CD at Noise13, Peter Judd (big ups, Peter!). Paul’s description at the top of the site: “Crappy stock headlines for crappy stock photos. You’re welcome.” So bad. So good. Links to both sites below.
