Matt is a copywriter/Instagrammer/snowboarder at BCW in NYC. His site is divided into Work (including spec), Client Work, I’m A Person Too, Instagrammer, and Resume. So interesting to see how different creative people present the different parts of their creative lives on a portfolio site. Dig it.
Griffin is a junior copywriter/musician in NYC, previously at Fifteen Degrees. The first project on his site is Joycestick VR, “a fully immersive virtual reality adaptation of James Joyce’s Ulysses.” Doesn’t get more modern copywriter than that. Also, don’t miss his Music page, featuring his track “Cracks in the Ceiling” and photos from his 22-day U.S. tour. Good times.
Jake is a new copywriter and a recent grad of Creative Circus in Atlanta (big congrats!). As always, super fun to see a student portfolio that looks like the student had fun making it—and that’s definitely the case with Jake’s. Can’t wait to see where he lands.
Jesse Alkire, copywriter/CD in Denver (featured on MC back on 08.18.16, jessealkire.com), checks in with a big announcement. The new Denver Ad School is up and running.
From the DAD site: “A new school for explorers and risk-takers. Out west, nestled up against Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, sits a lone creative outpost. A place for the curious and the willing to discover how far their creativity can take them. To get here takes an audacious will, but any good creative knows that nothing interesting ever came out of playing it safe.
Before you seek us out, though, ask yourself one question — are you in search of an ordinary advertising school… or are you in search of adventure?”
David is a copywriter at MKG (Experiential Marketing) in Brooklyn, NYC. All kinds of fun projects in his portfolio, which he’s designed to look exactly like a Gmail inbox (complete with easter eggs including the search bar, green minimize button, hamburger menu, etc.). Dig it. Also dig the photos of David’s foster dogs. High-five, DB. You’re good peeps.
Robbie is a copywriter/ACD at Saatchi & Saatchi NYC. So much awesomeness all over his portfolio. Don’t miss his first project “Marshmallows Only” for Lucky Charms (hello, dream project). Also, Hipster or Horse, because laughing. Also his About Me bio writeup, which is just about perfect. Love it all.
Brandon is a senior marketing & UX copywriter at Bill.com in San Francisco. (Haven’t featured a lot of UX writers on MC, but boy does the world need ’em.) Don’t miss his “Creative Direction & Photography” and “Personal Projects” pages. Some cool stuff.
