Stephen Dalton

Stephen is a copywriter/CD currently serving as CD at Lumenati, a new-ish production company in Denver. Previously, he spent time at CP+B, BBDO, 72andSunny, WorkInProgress, and freelanced all over the place. His portfolio features work for brands like Domino’s Pizza, Spotify, Google, Jimmy John’s, Charles Schwab, Applebee’s, Village Inn, Nescafé, Mike’s Hard Lemonade (featuring Mike Tyson). He and his partner also came up with the infamous “Captain Obvious” campaign for Hotels.com (love it). So much good stuff. Grab a cold beverage, fire up the laptop, click the link below, and enjoy!

Mick DiMaria

Mick is a freelance copywriter/CD in Los Angeles. Since his last post on MC (back on 12.15.10), he’s added a ton of projects to his site—so many, it takes two pages of thumbnails to get to them all. On the second page of projects, don’t miss “Heart Beats,” part of a branded content campaign he did with SoulPancake/Participant for Denny’s restaurants called “Denny’s Reconnection Stories.” Great story and great storytelling. Time for an update!

Matt Vitou

Matt is a copywriter/ACD in San Francisco who has spent time at Droga5, 72andSunny, Saatchi NYC, W+K Shanghai, and most recently Lyft in-house (pre-pandemic). Since his last post on MC (way back on 05.08.11, when he was a baby copywriter), he’s been busy—and it shows. His portfolio is so good. It was nearly impossible for MC to pick which project to feature, Dos Equis “Keep It Interesante” or Samsung “Let’s Go To Work” or Nike or ESPN or … had to be Seventh Generation “Vajingle” with the one and only Maya Rudolph (above). OMG so good.

UPDATE: Matt Heath

Matt is a copywriter/Creative Executive at CAA in Los Angeles. He’s been busy since his last MC post about a year ago, including a stint on the writing team of Eastbound & Down Season 3, stemming from the ad work he did for the show. (Awesome.) Don’t miss his Fake Craigslist Ads, especially the last one, “I don’t like the baby we adopted (Beverly Hills)” and his subsequent visit from non-fake police detectives. Hilarious.

Charlie Stephenson

Charlie is a senior copywriter at TBWA Chiat/Day, formerly at 72 and Sunny. There’s plenty of killer work for Zune on his site – including wicked video. But MC’s fave is a trophy for Charlie’s band Honchie featuring a plaque that reads, “International World Champions of Rock Music Honchie”. Sick.
