Senior Team Wanted: Cramer-Krasselt, Chicago

Craig Likhite, VP/Creative Manager at Cramer-Krasselt, is on the hunt for a senior team (senior art director + senior copywriter) to join their team in Chicago. From Craig:

We are looking for an individual or team to help us continue to make friends, not ads. You’ll work across integrated clients like Tropicana, Porsche, Corona Hard Seltzer, Spirit Airlines, Pacifico, Cedar Fair Parks, and more. The position is based in our Chicago office. All C-Kers will have a hybrid work schedule when we return to the office in January 2022.

The team we’re looking for already has a great portfolio – broadcast/film as well as fully integrated campaigns.  Let’s see some non-traditional thinking, too (PR-driven ideas /brand acts).

You will be equal parts concept-driven and design-driven. Someone who puts the idea before execution. And then, crafts the ever-loving hell out of that idea. This is an individual, or a team, who thinks about who would direct, DOP, and edit it all. A team who lives to produce work that makes their colleagues jealous. Who goes for not just a great PR idea but wants that idea on the cover of Archive.

If this is you, then you should join us.

To apply, visit C-K’s careers page here. Or reach out to Craig at Clikhite@c-k.com.

Bob Meagher

Bob is a freelance copywriter/CD in Richmond, VA, previously at the Martin Agency (for 28 years). Honored to have him up on MC! So many amazing projects on his site. Few things not to miss: the buzz clips reel at the end of the Geico “Good News” project page, Peter Frampton introducing Bob’s reel on his About page, and Kozy Shack Pudding “World’s Worst Jingle” on his radio page. So bad. So good.

Rich Black

porsche

Rich is a copywriter/ACD at Downtown Partners Chicago. Since his last post on MC five years ago (04.03.10, has it really been that long?), Rich has spent time at Cramer-Krasselt as the lead writer on Porsche—I really hope that means he got to drive one for free—and then moved to Downtown Partners. And took his Cayman with him??

CW Wanted: Cramer-Krasselt Chicago

Craig Likhite, Vice President/Creative Manager at CK Chicago, is looking for a mid-level copywriter to work on Corona, Panera, Hilton, Cedar Fair, Porsche, and other (awesome) accounts. From Craig: “CK is looking for a mid-level copywriter. What’s a mid-level copywriter? You’ve done some things. You’d like to do more things. Some of your things are good. You’d like your next ones to be great. You’ve worked on this and that. You’re looking to work on this, that and the other. TV. Radio. Digital. Whatever. The more curious, the better. Oh, and mid-level copywriters can’t be assholes. They have to be seniors to be assholes.” Amen. If you’re interested, contact Craig directly at the address below.

Will Bright

Will is a copywriter/CD at Kirshenbaum in New York. So much killer work in his book, including a ton of stuff for BMW. His site is Cargo, and is broken out into six categories: Latest Work, Branded Content, Web, TV, Print/OOH, and Case Studies. Interesting, because you can view the work by media (old school) or by case study/campaign (new school) or just check out the latest. All in six links. Very cool.

Jeff Van Zandt

Jeff is a copywriter/ACD at Cramer-Krasselt in Milwaukee. (Brand new gig, big congrats Jeff.) Check out this note to Jeff from Jason Alexander, after Jason received Jeff’s first script for his Jenny Craig Video Blog, “Jeff, I am literally blown away. Brilliant. I couldn’t have said it better. You truly got my voice down. I have no notes and anyone who knows me knows that is a first. It’s perfect. Go with it and thank you. If I ever run for office you are hired as my official speechwriter. Happy holidays. I’m telling my wife that I am blown away or in the words of George, ‘I am speechless. I am without speech’.” Nice.

Amy Hollrah

Amy is a copywriter/ACD at Hoffman York in Chicago after doing time at Leo Burnett, Cramer-Krasselt and Arnold. She wrote a spot for the Broan Ultra Silent Fan that I’ve seen about a zillion times (yes, I watch HGTV), and there’s a moment at the end that cracks me up. In the version on her site, they let that moment play out. Fun.
