So many great campaigns on his site, including a Super Bowl spot for Busch Beer, a Febreeze save-the-day project for the Parrish, Alabama Poop Train (have to see it to believe it), a Febreeze Super Bowl spot about a man whose bleep don’t stink, hilarity for Booking.com (above), plus tons more. All kinds of killer projects on his site, including Huggies Baby Making Radio Station, a creepy spot for BP Driver Rewards (how the heck did they sell that through?), and 1,000+ unique songs for Coke’s 1,000 Name Celebration (including Jason, thank you very much). Love it.

Chiyeung Lau

church

Chiyeung is a recent Creative Circus grad who’s now at Deutsch NY. What kind of student book do you need to land at an awesome shop like Deutsch out of school? This is your chance to find out. (Hint: it’s great.) Love the crazy mix of spec clients. Starts with the Archdiocese of New York (above), ends with Playboy Magazine and Under Armor. Nice.

Jon Gruber

hate

Jon is a new copywriter at Deutsch NYC after graduating from Miami Ad School on June 9th (big congrats!). The first project on his site is heavy, but powerful. Words Kill shows cyberbullies the real consequences of their actions by linking the sites of suicide victims who were bullied with the same words. Super smart.

Since his last post on MC (way back on 09.21.11), he’s got a new site, new gig, and a whole bunch of new work for clients like Verizon, Audible, Vevo, Google, Chapstick, and Mentos. Don’t miss his beautiful campaign for Popsicle (above) celebrating summer. Is it really almost over? How’d that happen so fast?

Brian Alexander

jager_1080_256c

Brian is a copywriter at Deutsch in NYC. Since his last post on MC just after graduating from Miami Ad School (way back on 07.18.11), he’s been busy. According to his About page, “Brian is from North Dakota. It was cold. Now he lives in Brooklyn where his writing appears in The New Yorker*, his advertising work is in the permanent collection at The Museum of Modern Art** and he is the host of All The Brians, a podcast where he interviews people named Brian for no reason***.” MC will leave it to you to read the other side of those asterisks. (Heh-heh.)

Alison Hammer

Alison is a copywriter/CD at MARC USA in Pittsburgh, PA. She’s got a crazy variety of projects up on her site, including online videos for verisign that look like they would have been a blast to shoot. “Ok, fish—hit him!” Also, don’t miss her Hate Mail page. We’ve all gotten it. Nice to see it proudly displayed.

Heather Parke

bradley

Heather is a freelance copywriter/ACD in Los Angeles. Check out her rez and you can’t help but be a little jealous of the agencies she’s worked with and the brands she’s worked on. Sick, sick, sick. MC had a hard time choosing what image to feature in Heather’s post, but if you have the opportunity to get Bradley Cooper’s face up there, that’s what you do. Right? Right.

(MC only looked at the left side, FYI.)

Scott is a senior copywriter at Hudson Rouge in NYC. Lots of great automotive projects on his site including Volkswagen, Hyundai and Lincoln (above). Also, a hilariously sad campaign for the NDRC, featuring faux children’s book covers reminding kids and their parents of the dangers of climate change, like “None Fish Few Fish Dead Fish Who Fish.” Hello, nightmares!!!

David Locascio

sign2

David is a copywriter/CD in Atlanta. Don’t miss his social campaign for RaceTrac (convenience stores and gas stations in the southern United States) around their “endless bevy of fountain drinks,” for which David got to make up fictitious soda concoctions and name them—the ultimate dream job of every 13-year-old boy who ever lived in the southern United States. Good times.

UPDATE: Andrew Baker

Screen-shot-2012-03-17-at-11.45.56-PM

Andrew is a freelance copywriter/CD based in Los Angeles, available globally (previous MC post 3.19.12). He’s all about cars. His entire portfolio is cars — and when you scroll through it, you quickly realize he’s worked on just about every car brand out there. He recently traded in his old site for a new 2013 model (tumblr), so time for an MC update.

UPDATE: Howard Hill

Howard is a senior CW in Los Angeles. Since his last post on MC (03.28.11) he’s updated from Krop to Cargo and added some killer new work, including pieces for Sony’s Xperia Studio and Americans Elect. About the latter, from Howard: “We tried to use the internet to nominate a president. That one didn’t work out but it was worth a shot because someone’s going to do it eventually.”

Andrew Baker

Andrew is a freelance copywriter/CD in the States and Asia. He loves cars. All kinds of cars. And he’s on a mission to do work for as many car brands as he can: Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, Scion, Cadillac, Acura, Infiniti, the list goes on. Gotta say, if you’re going to pick a category to go after, cars is a good one. Andrew’s site has a page titled Super Bowl TV, and he’s got four spots up there. Nice.

Andrew Payton

Andrew is a copywriter/CD at R/GA in NYC. What a crazy fun mix of work on his site, including tons of great digital. Be sure to click on “Intel, Web Film, Changed” (top row, third from right). We all have moments as copywriters, moments when we know we’ve made it. Like when you’ve hired a rock band and paid them however much to set up on the 10th floor of an office building and crank out a song about middle management I.T. Good stuff.

Howard Hill

Howard is a senior copywriter in NYC. His site features integrated work for six clients, plus a one-shots page, plus a page of outtakes. I recommend you click into DIRECTV and watch the Wayne’s World brand spot. Then go down to Outtakes and watch the Wayne stand-in just melt under the pressure of trying to say a lead-in line to Kim Basigner. Who wouldn’t?!

Christine Call

Christine is a copywriter at Deutsch. She shares a site with art director Clemente Bornacelli. They’ve done some cool work for VISA, including pieces of the Go World campaign for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Their site is hosted on Cargo and presented as verbs (above), except “???” which are their answers to James Lipton’s 10 questions. Christine’s favorite curse word: “Douchebag.”
