Saurabh Kejriwal

lenore

Saurabh is a freelance copywriter in Berlin, originally from India. What a cool portfolio. His work is organized into pages titled Innovation, Digital, Film, Integrated, Print, and Personal (though some projects are featured on multiple pages). Don’t miss his odes to skirts, shirts, trousers, scarves and socks for Lenor (above). Super fun.

Andrei Chahine

miley-sprinkles_wildposting_melrose_stanley-final

Andrei is a copywriter/VP, Brand Creative Director at MTV in NYC, which sounds like the coolest job ever. Since his last post on MC back on 03.02.12, Andrei moved to New York, worked at Anomaly and Grey, and now leads MTV’s in-house creative department. He’s also added all kinds of new work to his portfolio, including MTV VMA campaigns (for which he’s won a bunch of Cannes Lions). Time for an update!

Heather Parke

bradley

Heather is a freelance copywriter/ACD in Los Angeles. Check out her rez and you can’t help but be a little jealous of the agencies she’s worked with and the brands she’s worked on. Sick, sick, sick. MC had a hard time choosing what image to feature in Heather’s post, but if you have the opportunity to get Bradley Cooper’s face up there, that’s what you do. Right? Right.

UPDATE: Dana Tiel

oregon

Dana is copywriter at Grey NY. Since her last post on MC (04.20.12) she’s added a bunch of cool work for Canon, including a funny and so-true campaign for Canon PIXMA Printers, “Never again.” Also, check out her spots for Hunt’s Tomatoes featuring the above college student from MC’s alma mater, Oregon. Or, is that Oregor? Ha-ha!

UPDATE: Louis Wittig

interesting

Since his last post on MC (03.06.11), Louis moved to Euro where he worked on Dos Equis and The Most Interesting Man in the World, then to Grey New York where he works on everything from Pringles to Purolator. On the side, he’s also doing something awesome for the CW community. From Louis: “I do a Google Helpout where anyone (students mostly) who wants me to take a look at their portfolio can set a up a time, video chat with me, and I’ll tell them what I think. It’s completely free.” To check out Louis’s Helpout: Click here. Big ups, Louis!

James Madsen

PLCB_SealAd1_8x10_5

James is a copywriter/art director/CD in Milwaukee, on the hunt for his next adventure. Notice the CW/AD slash in his title. How many CWs have fantasized about having that slash? “I know my copy is great. It just needs to be designed different. If only …” and then you wake up, still seeing some ghost of the perfect layout in your mind, but not clearly enough to do it yourself, and besides, you don’t really know how to do type in InDesign anyway, even if you do know the kerning button. Dang.

Shawn Couzens

Shawn is a copywriter/CD at Grey in NYC. His site features an animated Shawn pulling portfolio categories out of his head, snoozing and falling out of his chair. Even though MC is a big fan of Cargo, it’s refreshing to see a site made for the writer whose name’s on the door. (Or URL.) Dig it.

Bill Force

Bill is a senior copywriter at EURO RSCG in Chicago, Grey Direct before that. His site starts with tasty campaigns for Brigid’s Bags and Parker Brothers … and then, wham! Check out the old school Rolex spreads. Fellow copywriters, if print is dying, know this: MC will be with you every step of the way. Together, we will march to the grave. Together, we will tap the dirt with our shovels. Together, we will raise our glasses to 36-point centered Palatino, 150 words of body copy and a tag that drives it all home in four. Salute!

Ben Huser

Ben is a copywriter at Grey NY. Before that, he was an intern at The Village Voice. He graduated from Duke in ’05 and already has a nice reel (Captain Morgan, E*Trade) on his site and a Gold Pencil on his mantel. Except he’s in NYC, so the Gold Pencil is probably on top of his mini-fridge.
