Jerry is a copywriter in the UK. He’s been “oozing creative juices from every orifice” and “spewing concepts across media” for 20 years. His words, not mine.

Dov is a copywriter/ACD at Ogilvy in NYC. Over the past ten years, he’s also done time at R/GA, FCB, TBWA, and JWT Melbourne. His site is loaded with awesome work, and a ton of it. Lots of which MC hadn’t seen before, like the above campaign for Maxwell House. Yawning IS ugly.

Jamie is a copywriter in NYC. First, check out his work. Then, check out his rez. Since graduating from Miami Ad School in 2005, he’s worked at a couple of shops, freelanced at a bunch, and is now about to launch an eco-denim company. Which, to MC, seems to perfectly align with the CWs coming out of Miami Ad School (influenced by CP+B), which Jamie attended. Entrepreneurs, idea factories, world tours.

Craig is a copywriter/CD at CP+B. The work on his site is presented as a simple reel, or downloadable reel/book. If you’re like MC, you see copywriter/CD at CP+B and you’re like, “Oh damn. This one’s going to kill.” Guess what? It kills.

Jose is a copywriter/ACD at CP+B in Boulder. Check out the above spot for Pepto Bismol, which Jose wrote at Leo Burnett Lapiz in Chicago for the U.S. Hispanic market. Burrito, mobster, burrito, Frankenstein, burrito, alien, burrito. Oh, and the burrito is a romantic burrito. Now that’s a script.

Kevin is a senior copywriter at JWT in NYC. What a fun mix of clients in his book: Olympics, Jones Soda, Nike, Napa Valley Vineyards, Seattle Art Museum, Mud Truck, and the resurrection of the one-and-only Raaaaanieeeeerrrrrrr Beeeeeerrrrr.

Malachy is a copywriter/CD in San Francisco. Love the silent video at the bottom right of each page – cool and arty and creepy all at the same time. Don’t misses: Nokia TV and About & Films (“A Single Woman” is awesome).
Portfolio: malachywalsh.com
Chiyong is a senior copywriter at JWT NY, formerly at Ogilvy & Mather and Leo Burnett. That’s a rez right off Mad Men, but Chiyong’s work is fresh as fish. (Fresh as fish?) Bing, Yahoo!, IBM, awesome.

Bonnie is a copywriter at JWT in NYC. She’s got a great mix of media on her site: TV, OOH, digital, banners and blogs. My fave is her personal blog, My Art Of Giving. You ask Bonnie to make something. She makes it. Then you donate to one of eight charities as “payment” for the art. Love it.

Luciana is a copywriter/interactive creative supervisor at AlmapBBDO. This, my friends, is what I enjoy most about MC. Getting to see amazing work I’ve never seen before, and probably wouldn’t get to see anywhere else. Just awesome.

Margie is a copywriter at GS&P. She shares a site with AD Megan Penmann. There’s a ton of fun stuff on their site, including “Mow The Lawn” for Quattro for Women and a vid + spots for Huggies Pull-ups. “One Big Kid. One Ancient Throne. One Unforgettable Journey.”
Portfolio: meganandmargie.com
Pedro is a copywriter at JWT Portugal. Bunch of cool Vodaphone stuff on his site. Also, be sure to check out his self-promo “Mother.” From Pedro’s mother, at the ironing board, to Mother London. Nice.

Matt is an acd/copywriter at Olson in Minneapolis. His site is the first time MC has seen gorilla actually represented by a gorilla. Love the animal stage show thing. (Why not?) Some fun surprises in his book too, like a TV spot featuring Burger King hand puppet synchronized swimming.

Cristiano is a senior copywriter at JWT in Milan, Italy. (So jealous.) Check out Heineken Auditorium, and the video below it, Heineken Auditorium Candid Camera. Awesome.

Derek is a copywriter at JWT in NYC. Don’t misses: Rapidograph, Schick and Filene’s Basement. Found this awesomeness on the bottom of his rez page: “I grew up in a trailer in Missouri. Now I live in Park Slope. Whew…that was close.”

Michael is a freelance copywriter/CD in San Francisco. So, what do you do if you’ve been a SVP/GCD at McCann for awhile, and most everyone in town knows you’re awesome, and you’ve got a ton of work to show, but instead of showing it on your site you decide to make people laugh? Well, you do this:

Chris is a copywriter/CD in NYC. What a killer portfolio. Don’t misses: All four Work Samples on the home page and, if you’re somehow the one and only person who hasn’t seen the Smirnoff Green Tea Partay vid, check that out. West Coast, baby.

Andrew is a copywriter/ECD at NBC Universal, previously at CP+B, CAA, JWT, W+K, Leagas Delaney, and Fallon. I want this portfolio when I grow up. That’s all I have to say.

Well, how about this? The one and only Chris Ford, long-time copywriter/CD at GS&P (and the very first copywriter posted on MC), is moving to Australia to become ECD of Ogilvy Sydney. Congrats, Ford!
Portfolio: chrisford.tv
Tom is a copywriter at McKinney in Raleigh-Durham, Fallon before that. Sometimes you go through a site and it’s just like, this person has fun being a copywriter. This person had fun making all of this stuff. Check out the first Holiday Inn spot: Unicycle. I just watched it five times in a row. “What is he a clown or something?” “I hope so.” “Good for him.”
Portfolio: tomsebanc.com
Sam is a copywriter/CD at JWT in NYC. His site just rocks. Couple of don’t misses: first two spots of Fatty Golf Open (hilarious!) and, in Info, scroll down and check out the Client History Map. Never seen that.
Portfolio: sammazur.com
Eduardo is a copywriter/ACD at Ogilvy Interactive in São Paulo. (Lots of killer sites coming to MC from São Paulo.) There’s great work up and down his blog, and Whopper Face is a biggie. But I have to call out one old school print campaign that’s just awesome. Look for the post title “Second Hand Furniture.” Tagline is “More than furniture. Witnesses.”
Portfolio: pastadudumarques.blogspot.com
Liz is a copywriter/CD at Tribal DDB. So cool to see all of the different ways copywriters display their work. I was trying to think of how to describe Liz’s first five or six projects, and the word “placemats” popped into my head. Placemats with video, sound effects and links. So cool.

Tim is a copywriter/ACD at BBDO in Detroit. He shares a site with art director/creative partner Steve Glinski. Much of the work on their site is GM, and you’ll recognize a lot of it. But there’s also some really great stuff I’d never seen – especially in Print. Anvil and Night Light are awesome.
Portfolio: steveandtim.com
Sean has moved to W+K NYC from Anomaly. It makes me so happy to write that. Not that he left Anomaly. Anomaly is awesome. But Sean and I went to Oregon together, and there’s a bond between Oregon and W+K that’s deep. Seeing Sean land at Wieden makes everything right in the world. Big congrats, Sean. And for the zillionth time, thanks for Reservoir Dogs and The Afghan Whigs.

Steffan is a copywriter at the doug agency in Toronto, Arnold and JWT before that, 10 years on the account side before that. Love how his site looks and works. Super clean and easy. Be sure to check out DOUG AGENCY in the ALT section (above). Hilarious.
Scott is a copywriter at Droga5. The first campaign on his site, for MTV, is stupid funny. The next one, for Swedish Fish, is just as stupid funny, and on it goes. NOTE: I’m usually not a fan of sound effects on portfolio sites, but the air horn is awesome.
Rick is a senior copywriter at JWT NY, BBDO before that. Don’t misses: Chewbacca Cingular spot (awesome), becomeANmm.com case study, and Rick’s ambient band MOON CAR.
Portfolio: rickabb.com
Dan is a copywriter/SVP/CD at Publicis NY, JWT and DDB before that. I like how his site works. On the left is a small, simple nav box that shifts up and down so it stays vertically centered. The main window background changes to match the product/brand of the creative being featured. And despite Dan’s years in the biz, it’s a tight book: 9 TV, 10 print, 4 web, 2 entertainment.

Matt is a copywriter/CD at JWT NY, Bates before that. His bio reads that his “career goal is to make advertising people don’t hate.” Well, he’s done a hell of a lot better than that. Snake a bottle of the good stuff out of your agency’s client stash, shake it up dry, and sneak off somewhere you can be alone for 15 minutes. This is a great one.
