Alysa is a creative copywriter/UX writer/content strategist at Kitchen in Prague, Czech Republic. (Love seeing international portfolios.) Her work is broken out into seven sections: iGaming Industry, Automated Email Marketing, Chatbots + Tech, AI + Blockchain, Art Trading Platform, Creative Agency, and Personal Articles. Whew! In Personal Articles don’t miss “Why I Decided to Leave the U.S.” in Medium. Makes MC want to move to Prague.
Andrew is an ACD/copywriter at McCann in NYC. The work in his portfolio is killer—but it’s the format of his book that puts it over the top. Andrew has created #BAÑOBOOK: “the first Instagram-based copywriting portfolio designed to fight dwindling site visits by focusing on ‘toilet-top’ rather than ‘desktop’ views.” Instead of describing it further, MC encourages all to have a seat, take a load off, and enjoy.
Greg is a new copywriter/experienced producer. He’s also a drummer (like MC), so you know his portfolio is going to be good (ahem). All kinds of fun projects on his site, from other uses for Lipton Onion Soup (above), to Russian Tourism, to Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax. Dig it.
Samar is a new copywriter and recent grad of Miami Ad School Hamburg. All kinds of cool ideas up on his site, including You Are Here for Penguin Audiobooks (smart), Snack Unseen for Cheez-Its, Whopper Spooky Search for Burger King, and Sleepless for VW (love seeing headline-as-visual ads). If possible, check out Samar’s site on desktop view to see his you-type-his-words landing page. Fun idea.

Erin Conrad, Talent Relations Manager at Cactus in Denver (check out their site here), is on the hunt for a copywriter to join their team. From Cactus:
Cactus is a small agency doing innovative, bold and imaginative work for a growing list of great clients. We aim to make our work and our portfolios better every day, with every project, and we’re committed to developing thought-provoking ideas and executions that make our corner of the planet a better place to live, work and play. We’re looking for someone with outstanding talent and tireless passion to help us further our mission and add to our agency mojo.
To be seriously considered, candidates will have roughly 2-5 years of agency experience and an exceptional portfolio of work that displays superior conceptual ideation skills, strong headlines, well-written copy and the ability to produce integrated campaigns across digital, video and 2D media. At Cactus, we value your personality and character just as much as your work, so you’ll also need to be someone with a collaborative, team-centric spirit, a solution-oriented mindset, and someone who strives to make every project into something great.
If that’s you, get in touch. You just might be the one we’re looking for.
Matt is a copywriter/Instagrammer/snowboarder at BCW in NYC. His site is divided into Work (including spec), Client Work, I’m A Person Too, Instagrammer, and Resume. So interesting to see how different creative people present the different parts of their creative lives on a portfolio site. Dig it.

The first project on his site is Joycestick VR, “a fully immersive virtual reality adaptation of James Joyce’s Ulysses.” Doesn’t get more modern copywriter than that. Also, don’t miss his Music page, featuring his track “Cracks in the Ceiling” and photos from his 22-day U.S. tour. Good times.
Jake is a new copywriter and a recent grad of Creative Circus in Atlanta (big congrats!). As always, super fun to see a student portfolio that looks like the student had fun making it—and that’s definitely the case with Jake’s. Can’t wait to see where he lands.
Jesse Alkire, copywriter/CD in Denver (featured on MC back on 08.18.16, jessealkire.com), checks in with a big announcement. The new Denver Ad School is up and running.
From the DAD site: “A new school for explorers and risk-takers. Out west, nestled up against Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, sits a lone creative outpost. A place for the curious and the willing to discover how far their creativity can take them. To get here takes an audacious will, but any good creative knows that nothing interesting ever came out of playing it safe.
Before you seek us out, though, ask yourself one question — are you in search of an ordinary advertising school… or are you in search of adventure?”
David is a copywriter at MKG (Experiential Marketing) in Brooklyn, NYC. All kinds of fun projects in his portfolio, which he’s designed to look exactly like a Gmail inbox (complete with easter eggs including the search bar, green minimize button, hamburger menu, etc.). Dig it. Also dig the photos of David’s foster dogs. High-five, DB. You’re good peeps.
Robbie is a copywriter/ACD at Saatchi & Saatchi NYC. So much awesomeness all over his portfolio. Don’t miss his first project “Marshmallows Only” for Lucky Charms (hello, dream project). Also, Hipster or Horse, because laughing. Also his About Me bio writeup, which is just about perfect. Love it all.
Brandon is a senior marketing & UX copywriter at Bill.com in San Francisco. (Haven’t featured a lot of UX writers on MC, but boy does the world need ’em.) Don’t miss his “Creative Direction & Photography” and “Personal Projects” pages. Some cool stuff.
Lucía (writer) and Joan (art director) are a junior creative team at TBWA\España. (Love having a Spanish team on MC again.) Their team portfolio is part produced, part student work—but mostly produced, and what’s produced is awesome. Don’t miss their campaign for Codere Apuestas, Real Madrid’s official betting company (above). Too funny.
Natalie is a new designer/art director and a recent graduate of the University of Oregon. (Go Ducks!) Her student portfolio is super fun, bright, and optimistic—love the big, bold type throughout (beautiful typography). Perfect for a spring Saturday post on MC. Can’t wait to see where Natalie lands!
Eric is a senior copywriter/ACD at Colle McVoy in Minneapolis. All kinds of awesome projects on his site for Jackson Hole, Red Barron, Jack’s Links, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Schell’s Beer (above).
